Join our expert staff deliver live virtual STEM Programs for hands-on, engaging STEM learning! We’ll work with your children as they work through awesome activities and projects in topics like:

Onboarding Procedure:

You will receive all information you need to join the program at least 48 hours in advance of the first class.

Please add [email protected] to your approved contacts list in order to ensure you receive all email communications. 

You are responsible for reviewing the onboarding email in detail and being prepared with all materials before the class start time. Class begins promptly at the listed start time.

Coding Club | Mondays from November 9 to December 14 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Explore the world of code as we dive into a variety of programming languages! From developing our own fully playable games with Scratch, to getting into the creative side of code with Processing, to building our own simulations with Micro:Bit, this program a great way to get hands-on and visual with code. Get ready for a coding experience like you've never seen!

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient.


Digital Art & Design | Wednesdays from November 4 to December 9 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Have a creative kid on your hands? Take their learning to the next level with Digital Art & Design!

Throughout this program, students will explore the creative side of STEM as they dive into 3D design, animation, computer music, and more.

Students will create a variety of projects as they discover just how technology is shaping the world of media, art, and design. No previous experience is needed to find your inner creator!

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient.


Computer Music & Animation | Mondays from January 11 to February 22 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Explore the intersection of art and STEM to take your creativity to the next level! In this program, students will create their own amazing songs and animated shorts all while discovering how these technologies are shaping the world around us.

No prior experience required!

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient.


Minecraft Club | Wednesdays from January 13 to February 17 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Build a whole new world in Minecraft! We will design our own narrative worlds in Minecraft as we learn about effective storytelling and game creation.

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet may be used but is not recommended.

You will also need to download the Minecraft for Education software by clicking here. This page is also where you can view whether or not your device is compatible.


Arcade Masters | Saturdays from January 16 to February 20 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm EST

Why just play video games when you can create your own? In this program, we will learn to create a variety of different kinds of retro-style video games with MakeCode Arcade!

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet may be used but is not recommended.


Web & App Development | Mondays from March 1 to April 19 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Everyone has a great idea for an app, so let's bring that idea to life! In this program, we will learn to design and code our own websites and apps.

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient.


Video Game Design | Wednesdays from February 24 to April 7 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST

Why just play video games when you can create your own? Learn to code your own platformer-style games with Flowlab as we explore the world of video game design.

In order to participate in this class, you will require a laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. An iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient.


Virtual LEGO Robotics | Saturdays from February 27  April 17 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm EST

Get hands-on with code as we learn to program the LEGO Ev3 robot through a variety of challenges.

Don't have a LEGO Ev3 robot at home? No worries! Use the Virtual Robotics Toolkit simulator. Click here to learn more. 

In order to participate in this class, you will require:

  1. A laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection. If you are using a laptop/computer, it must be a Windows operating system.
    1. If you have a LEGO Ev3 robot at home, you can also use an iPad/tablet. If you do not have a LEGO Ev3 robot at home, an iPad/tablet will not work.
  2. You will need to download the LEGO Mindstorms software. Click here to download and to view minimum operating system requirements.

  • In order to participate in STEM Minds Virtual STEM Programs, you will require a computer with an internet connection and will need to download Zoom video conferencing software. A laptop/desktop computer is required; an iPad will not be sufficient to participate in activities (although it can be used to join the Zoom call).
  • Your Zoom display name MUST match either the name of the adult listed upon registration or your child’s name in order to be permitted to join the class.
