Onboarding Procedure:

You will receive all information you need to join the program at least 48 hours in advance of the first class.

Please add [email protected] to your approved contacts list in order to ensure you receive all email communications. 

You are responsible for reviewing the onboarding email in detail and being prepared with all materials before the class start time. Class begins promptly at the listed start time.

Important Information:

  • All children must be supervised by a parent/guardian for the duration of the class.
  • In order to participate in the class, you will need to download Zoom
    • Your Zoom display name MUST match either the name of the adult listed upon registration or your child’s name in order to be permitted to join the class.
  • For all classes that involve the use of an app (e.g. coding, video game design, etc), you will need 2 devices in order to join the class; 1 device of any kind to view the instructor on and 1 tablet to use the app on. You will need to download the app prior to the start of the class. A phone is not recommended due to the small screen size

Junior LEGO Builders | Mondays from November 9 to December 14 from 5:30 - 6:15 pm EST

Put on your engineering hat and get ready to become a LEGO Builder! Students will participate in a variety of hands-on build challenges as they learn the basics of engineering including strong and stable structures, the engineering design process, and more!

Required Materials:

  • LEGO
  • LEGO base (optional)
  • Pencil and paper

Digital Designers | Wednesdays from November 4 to December 9 from 5:30 - 6:15 pm EST

Ready to dive into the world of digital design? Learn about 3D design, graphic design, animation, computer music, and more as we explore the creative side of STEM!

Required Materials:

  • Computer with an internet connection (iPad/tablet not recommended)

Little Computer Engineers | Mondays from January 11 to February 22 from 5:30 - 6:15 pm EST

Computers are everywhere in our lives, so let's learn how they work. From understanding the parts of a computer, to how to keep yourself safe online, to the basics of code, you're going to become a computer whiz kid!

Required Materials:

  • Laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection (iPad/tablet will NOT be sufficient)

Computer Music & Animation | Saturdays from January 16 to February 20 from 10;30- 11:15 am EST

Let's explore the intersection of STEM and the arts comes to life! We will learn the fundamentals of music and animation as we create our own songs and short stories.

No previous experience is required!

Required Materials:

  • Laptop/computer/Chromebook/iPad/tablet with an internet connection.
    • If you choose to use your tablet as your main workstation, you will require a secondary device in order to view the instructor.

Junior Programmers | Mondays from March 1 to April 19 from 5:30 - 6:15 pm EST

Learn a new language; the language of code! We will explore the fundamentals of code with Kodable and Tynker through a variety of fun, hands-on challenges and puzzles.

All logins will be provided to you at the start of the class.

Required Materials:

  • Laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection (iPad/tablet not recommended)

Video Game Design | February 24 to April 7 from 5:30 - 6:15 pm EST

Why just play video games when you can create your own? We will be creating our own platformer games with Bloxels as we explore the world of video game design.

Required Materials:

  1. A laptop/computer/Chromebook with an internet connection OR
